Developing ATOON required overcoming complex hurdles to integrate real-time dynamics with heavy media capabilities.
Mapping Emptions to Music
Problem:
Building the precise 7-day trial flow, where full access is granted immediately, but the subscription charge is only initiated on Day 7, with easy cancellation options.
Solution:
We implemented a custom state-mapping logic, visible in the "How are you feeling?" quadrant, which dynamically filters the music library, making the app highly personalized from the moment the user opens it.
Seamless Audio Experience & Gating
Problem:
Delivering uninterrupted, high-quality audio playback while managing free "Glimpse" samples and the locked 7-day trial mechanism.
Solution:
Used Flutter's robust audio plugins combined with Firebase Cloud Functions to manage user subscription status in real-time. This ensures that tracks are only fully streamed for active subscribers while still allowing a smooth, short "Tap to play sample" experience for potential users.
Complex Subscription Logic
Problem:
Building the precise 7-day trial flow, where full access is granted immediately, but the subscription charge is only initiated on Day 7, with easy cancellation options.

Integrated with native mobile purchase APIs (Apple/Google) and implemented detailed trial tracking in the backend, ensuring the "How your free trial works" timeline is executed flawlessly.
