Extreme Geographical Reliability & Network Stability
Problem:
Maintaining consistent GPS tracking, booking status, and real-time driver/passenger communication in remote mountainous zones with sparse cellular coverage.
Solution:
We integrated a robust offline module into both the Passenger and Driver apps. This included cached route data, pre-loaded geo-fenced zones, and communication fallback logic (SMS/Push) to ensure trip integrity and payment finalization even during complete network loss.
Driver Vetting & Local Expertise Validation
Problem:
Ensuring all registered drivers truly possess the deep local knowledge and safety skills necessary to navigate high-altitude passes and treacherous seasonal roads.
Solution:
We designed a mandatory digital certification process managed by Firebase Cloud Functions. Drivers must complete geo-fenced training modules focused on local culture, first aid, and certified route knowledge before being authorized to accept bookings. This guarantees the "Local Expertise" promise.
Dual-Platform Feature Parity & Onboarding
Problem:
Managing two distinct mobile applications (Passenger and Driver) with real-time dependency (e.g., driver location, passenger request status) using a small, agile team.
Solution:
The entire application suite was built using Flutter (Dart), allowing a single codebase for both iOS and Android. This drastically reduced development time and ensured immediate, seamless feature parity between the Passenger and Driver versions.
