Developing FaceMax required overcoming complex hurdles to integrate real-time dynamics with heavy media capabilities.
AI-Powered Face Scanning Accuracy
Problem:
Accurately mapping a user's facial structure under varying lighting, angles, and camera qualities.
Solution:
We integrated a multi-frame validation flow with ML-based landmark detection. The system stabilizes readings by analyzing symmetry, jawline definition, glow, and proportions before generating a final "Face Score."
Personalization Logic for Daily Tips
Problem:
Tips needed to change dynamically depending on the user's facial metrics, habits, and progress history.
Solution:
A recommendation engine built using Firestore + custom logic layers categorizes tips into: Facial exercises, Grooming, Skincare, Lifestyle. The engine evaluates user data daily and recommends the highest-impact edits.
Seamless Premium Gating
Problem:
Certain features like "Ideal Face," "Full Results," and the "30-Day Roadmap" needed to remain premium-only without breaking the UX flow.
Solution:
We built soft gating using visual blur overlays, locked icons, and in-app purchase APIs (Apple/Google). This allows users to preview features without accessing them until they subscribe.
